For AbyssNaut Industry, 2019 has been all about the fruition of one of its major projects: final touches have been made to an underwater cleaning robot for use on aquarium windows.
The prototypes presented over the last two years have made it possible to move forward and make a real technological leap in the underwater maintenance of aquarium glass.
Developments on this project mean that robots will be available for purchase in 2020 thereby providing the option of an automated solution. The system will enable faster, non-invasive maintenance, reducing the need for divers.
